Many EPI candidates refer to their first year as challenging due to the number of changes they experience. You will deal with a new country, culture, school system, new teaching colleagues, a new home, new foods, new friends, etc.ย

Cultural adaptation requires a significant adjustment period as you move through the various phases. It typically takes at least six months to begin to adapt to the new culture.
